Saints Injuries Kaden Elliss Carl Granderson Ruled Out Against Falcons

The New Orleans Saints have announced key injuries ahead of their Monday night clash against the Atlanta Falcons. Linebacker Kaden Elliss will not participate due to a calf injury, and edge rushers Carl Granderson and Anfernee Jennings are sidelined with ankle and knee injuries, respectively.

Kaden Elliss, a notable absence, will miss the opportunity to compete against his former team, having played three seasons with the Falcons. His experience might have been crucial in this high-stakes divisional matchup. Additionally, linebacker Pete Werner is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury and has not practiced all week, potentially leaving a significant gap in the Saints’ defensive lineup.

To compound the challenges for the Saints, tight end Noah Fant is also questionable after a strong performance last week where he scored two touchdowns. His potential absence could impact the team’s offensive dynamics significantly.

According to Saints coach Kellen Moore, decisions on Werner and Fant will likely come close to game time. “We’ll give it a little bit of time. We obviously still have time ’til Monday night,” Moore explained, emphasizing the need for careful evaluation over the coming days.
